REIMAGINE END OF LIFE FESTIVAL

THE OFFICE works with Reimagine End Of Life Festival, an innovative event that incorporates music, literature, comedy, and the visual arts to interrogate how we, as communities and as individuals, talk about loss, grieving, and intentional celebrations of life. We partnered with Reimagine on its New York City edition in 2018, producing the opening and closing night events, and we are currently supporting the organization’s 2020 programming, which moved to digital.

REIMAGINE END OF LIFE FESTIVAL 2018

The Reimagine festival hosted 350 events and 10,000 attendees across New York City over the course of a week, exploring death and celebrating life through art, creativity, and conversation. Opening Night at Merkin Hall featured performances by National Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith, author and Buddhist teacher Frank Ostaseski, comedian Chris Garcia, indie-folk artist Craig Minowa of Cloud Cult, Vy Higginsen's Sing Harlem Choir, and other notable storytellers, musicians, and dancers. The festival culminated with an intimate evening at LPR with Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan of Dispatch performing an acoustic set and interview, Conan O'Brien writer and comedian Laurie Kilmartin, Brooklyn-based band L'Rain, live art from Day Schildkret, songwriter Brad Wolfe & the Moon, meaningful talks, and special moments of reflection.
